The speed test measures the connection of the browser you run it in. It helps you tell whether a slow session comes from your own internet. Company admins have it in the sidebar. Employees do not.

  1. Click Speed test in the sidebar.
  2. Click Start test.
  3. Wait for it to finish. Download is measured first and upload straight after. It takes about half a minute, and Stop test ends it early.

ResultSpeed

Excellent300+ Mbps
Very strong100+ Mbps

Fair10+ Mbps
LimitedUnder 10 Mbps

Connection quality is based on the lower of your two speeds.

Confidence shows how steady the speed was during the test. High means steady. Variable means it moved around a lot, so run it again.

Transferred is the amount of data the test used, which matters if you are on a metered connection. The page also shows your IP address, which is useful for the list of allowed addresses.

Which device to run it on

Run it on your own device to test your own internet. If you run it in a browser inside your computer, it measures that computer's connection instead.

Results can change with Wi-Fi quality, what else your device is doing, a VPN and how busy the network is.

If the test does not finish, check your connection and click Start test again. A VPN or firewall can also stop it.

If your speed looks fine and the computer still feels slow, try a region closer to you for your next computer, or contact our team.
