Company admins create computers from the Computers page. If you are an employee, ask your company admin to create one for you.

Click the button at the bottom of each step to move to the next one.

  1. Click Computers in the sidebar.
  2. Click Create computer.
  3. Choose a region. We pick the closest one for you, and you can change it.
  4. Choose a plan. The price shows beside each one.
  5. Choose Dynamic IP or Static IP. Dynamic IP is included and suits most people. Read about static IPs.
  6. Check the Allowed IP addresses list. Your current network address is added for you. Add any others that need to connect with Remote Desktop.
  7. Type a Computer name of up to 50 characters.
  8. Check your order on the Review and payment step.
  9. Choose a saved card, or click Add a new card.
  10. Click the button at the bottom to pay. It shows the amount due today.

You do not choose a Windows username or password. We create them for you, and you find them on the computer's page once it is ready.

What you are charged

Your card is charged as soon as you create the computer, and then every month. If your billing period is already under way, the first charge is prorated, so you pay only for the part of the period that is left. Due today shows the exact amount before you confirm.

If you pick a card that is not your default, it becomes your company's default payment method.

If you see a message instead

  • Payment declined: your computer was not created. Click Add a different card, or contact your bank.
  • A message that the same computer was created a few minutes ago: you may have ordered it already. Click View the first one to avoid paying twice.
  • Verify your organization or Computer limit reached: read how many computers you can have.

The review step also offers Record this computer, which is optional.
