In a browser session, your computer is set to play its sound through your own device's speakers.
The microphone does not work in a browser session at the moment. Use Remote Desktop if you need it.
If you cannot hear anything
Go through these in order:
- Check the volume on your own device.
- Check that the browser tab is not muted.
- Click inside the session. Browsers often hold back sound until you have clicked on the page.
- Check the speaker icon on the Windows taskbar inside the session.
- Disconnect and connect again.
Check how the computer is set up
Company admins can see the settings on the computer's page.
- Click Computers in the sidebar.
- Click the computer's name.
- Find Sound and microphone on the Overview tab.
- Read the Browser connection row.
- Click Check Windows to read the settings inside Windows as well. This changes nothing, and the computer must be running.
These show how the computer is set up, not that sound reaches your speakers. If the settings look right and you still cannot hear anything, contact our team.
