To make a computer bigger or smaller, change its plan. Company admins can do this while it is running or stopped.

  1. Click Computers in the sidebar.
  2. Click the computer's name.
  3. Click the Subscription tab.
  4. Click Change plan.
  5. Choose a plan. Only plans in the computer's region are listed.
  6. Check the summary, including New monthly price and Charged today.
  7. Click the button at the bottom of the dialog to confirm.

DowngradeNothing, and no refundThe lower price starts next billing cycle

The dialog shows the exact amount for each plan. You need a saved card for an upgrade, and your bank may ask you to confirm the payment. If a payment is declined, the plan does not change.

What happens to the computer

  • Save your work first. Anyone connected is disconnected.
  • The status shows Rebooting until the change is finished.
  • A running computer comes back on by itself. A stopped computer stays stopped, on the new plan.
  • Your files, programs, password and extra disks stay as they are.
  • Your primary disk stays the same size, even on a smaller plan. To make it bigger, resize the disk.
  • A dynamic IP may change, so download a new RDP file afterward.

If the change cannot be applied, the computer goes back to its old plan and the amount you paid is credited to your account.
