Make the primary disk bigger
Grow the C drive from the Storage tab. This is permanent, since the disk cannot shrink again. Windows gets the new space automatically after a reboot.

You can make the primary disk, the C: drive, bigger. Company admins can do this while the computer is running.
This is permanent. The disk can grow again later, but it cannot shrink, and you keep paying for the added space. For more flexibility, add a disk instead.
- Click Computers in the sidebar.
- Click the computer's name.
- Click the Storage tab.
- Click Resize primary disk.
- Set the New size. The dialog shows the Current size, the amount Included free and the Rate.
- Check Added to your monthly bill.
- Click Pay and resize disk.
Your card is charged when you confirm, prorated for what is left of your billing period.
What happens next
The resize can take several minutes, and the computer reboots when it is done. Save your work first, because anyone connected is disconnected by the reboot. Windows extends the C: drive for you, so there is nothing to do afterward. See the new space.
Limits
- The largest size shows at the end of the slider. A disk already at the largest size shows Fully resized. Add a disk if you need more.
- After a resize, you may need to wait up to 1 hour before you can resize that disk again. The page tells you if so, and you are not charged.
- Changing plan does not change the size of this disk.
