My payment failed and I see a past-due warning
A failed payment puts your account past due. You can keep working, we retry the card, and the warning shows your deadline.

Your account goes past due when a charge to your card fails. You can keep using the portal, and the warning stays at the top of every page until the balance is paid. It says how much failed and the date your computers keep running until.
See why it failed
- Click Billing in the sidebar.
- Read the red warning at the top of the page. It can show the reason from your bank, how many attempts have been made, and the date of the next automatic retry.
We try your card again automatically. When a retry is scheduled, the warning shows its date.
Fix it
- To pay now, see pay a past-due balance.
- If your card has expired or changed, you can use a new one on the payment page, or add a card first.
Adding a card does not pay the balance on its own.
What happens if you wait
A yellow unpaid invoice message
If the message is yellow and says you have an unpaid invoice, your computers are not affected. You can pay it from the same message whenever you are ready.
