Company admins can check what has happened on their account.

  1. Click Settings in the sidebar, then Security.
  2. Scroll to Login history.

The table shows your last 100 events, 10 to a page, with the action, browser, network address, and date and time. All times are in UTC.

It lists sign-ins, sign-outs, password changes, connecting or disconnecting Google, new backup codes, and choosing to stay signed in. It does not list wrong-password attempts, or turning two-step sign in on or off.

The email about a new sign-in

We email you when your account signs in from a network address we have not seen on it before. The email gives the time, address, country and device.

You cannot turn this email off. It is one of the Account security alerts that are Always on.

This can be a normal sign-in, such as from a new place, network or VPN. If it was you, there is nothing to do.

If it was not you

  1. Change your password, which signs you out everywhere else.
  2. Check where you are signed in.
  3. Turn on two-step sign in if it is off.
  4. Contact our team if you think someone changed anything.
