Changing your password signs you out on every other device. The one you are using stays signed in.
If you are a company admin
- Click Settings in the sidebar, then Security.
- Under Password, click Change password.
- Enter your Current password, your New password, and the new one again in Confirm password.
- Click Update password.
The new password needs at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, one number and one special character.
If you have only ever signed in with Google, the button says Set password, and you do not need a current password. After that you can sign in either way.
If you are an employee
- Click Settings in the sidebar.
- Under Password, enter your Current password, your New password and Confirm new password.
- Click Change password.
Your password also needs a lowercase letter. The page ticks off each rule as you type.
Good to know
- If you do not know your current password, reset it from the sign-in page instead.
- This does not change the Windows password on your computers. That one is separate. See find your computer's password.
