I lost my phone and cannot sign in
Get back in with an emailed code or a backup code, then move your authenticator app to your new phone. If you have neither, contact our team.

You can still sign in if you have email codes turned on or you saved your backup codes. Start by signing in with your email and password, or with Google.
Get back in
- If you also have email codes turned on, the page offers a choice. Click Email me a code and enter the code we email you.
- If you saved your backup codes, click Use a backup code and type one. If the page offers a choice first, click Use authenticator app to reach it.
If you have neither, contact our team.
Set up your new phone
Do this as soon as you are in. It also stops the codes on your old phone from working.
- Click Settings in the sidebar, then Security.
- Turn off the Authenticator app switch and click Turn off to confirm.
- Turn the switch on again.
- Scan the QR code with the app on your new phone.
- Type the 6-digit code and click Verify and turn on.
- Save your new backup codes and click I saved my codes. Your old backup codes no longer work.
If your phone was stolen
Someone may have saved passwords on it, so also:
- Change your password, which signs you out everywhere else.
- Check where you are signed in.
If you are an employee
Employees can only use an emailed code, not an app, so a lost phone only matters if your email is on it. If you cannot reach your email, ask your company admin.
