What uptime monitors are

We check your website or API from four parts of the world, and tell you when it stops responding.

Updated · 1 min read

An uptime monitor visits a web address over and over, day and night. If it stops responding, you hear about it by email, Slack or webhook.

  • It can check as often as every 30 seconds.
  • It checks from up to four regions: North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
  • It can warn you before a security certificate or domain expires.
  • Every incident is kept on record, with when it started, what each region saw, and when it came back.

Uptime monitoring is included with your account. Create your first monitor with a name and an address.
