Send alerts to a webhook

Send a request to any address when something happens to a monitor. Use it with PagerDuty, Discord, Zapier or your own system.

Updated · 1 min read

A webhook sends a web request to an address you choose, so another system can act on it.

  1. Click Uptime monitors in the sidebar, then Integrations.
  2. Click Create webhook.
  3. Type a Webhook name and the Webhook URL.
  4. Under Notify on, choose which events send it.
  5. Open Advanced settings if your system needs a method, Custom header, Basic authentication or a Request body template. The dialog lists the variables you can use, such as {{monitor_name}} and {{status}}.
  6. Save it.

Then open each monitor, click Edit monitor, and choose the webhook under Notifications.

The list shows each webhook's Last delivery and Deliveries, which helps when you are checking that it works.
