Get alerts in Slack

Connect Slack

1. Click Uptime monitors in the sidebar, then Integrations.
2. Click Connect Slack, and allow it in Slack.
3. Click Add channel, pick a channel, and choose which events notify it.
4. Click Save channel.

Then open each monitor, click Edit monitor, and choose the channel under Notifications.

A private channel is not listed

Slack only shows private channels the app has been invited to.

1. Open the private channel in Slack.
2. Type /invite @OWD Cloud and press Enter.
3. Refresh the list, and the channel appears.

Messages stopped arriving

• The OWD Cloud app is not in this channel. Invite it, then try again. Invite it as above.
• This channel is archived in Slack. Choose another channel.
• The Slack connection is no longer valid. Reconnect Slack. Connect it again.

Disconnecting Slack stops the alerts right away, and removes the saved channels.
