For the check itself, you need:

  • A valid government-issued ID: a driver's license, national ID card or passport.
  • A device with a camera, because the ID must be captured live.
  • A selfie, to confirm it is you.

For the form before it, you need your name, date of birth and address, including State or province and Zip or postal code. Company name and Address line 2 are optional.

If your computer has no camera

Sign in to OWD Cloud on a phone or tablet that has a camera, and start from Settings, then Organization there. On a device without a camera, the check says it cannot finish.

Things that make a check fail

  • An ID that has expired.
  • A type of ID that is not accepted.
  • An ID that cannot be read, or that has no clear photo.
  • A selfie that does not match the photo on the ID.

If that happens, see my verification failed or is pending.

What happens to your information

Your information is encrypted and handled under applicable data protection standards. We keep the pictures of your ID, your selfie and the result of the check in private storage with your company's verification record. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
