Add a service to Authenticator
Upload the QR code the service shows you, or type its setup key, and save it as a token.

Each service you add is called a token. Start on the other service's security page, and turn on two-step sign in there until it shows you a QR code.
- Click Authenticator in the sidebar.
- Click Add token.
- Type the Service name, such as Google or GitHub. Website and Folder are optional.
- Add the code one of two ways:
- On QR code, save a picture of the service's QR code, then drag it in or click choose a file. It must be a PNG, JPG or WEBP, up to 5 MB.
- On Setup key, type or paste the key the service gives you.
- Use Notes or backup codes for the service's backup codes, up to 1,000 characters.
- Click Save token.
- Copy the code from the list, and enter it on the other service to finish.
A setup key contains only the letters A to Z and the numbers 2 to 7. If yours is refused, check you copied the whole key.
